    Gender: Male
    Location: Northwest
    Height: 6'0"
About Me: Times they are a changin’. Sports that were once deemed “reckless” and full of “punks” have become some of the most popular pastimes and have corporate sponsors knocking each other over to get a piece. Even with the recent growth of board sports, one thing remains the same…they’re driven by youth!

The Great Northwest Gromfest (GNG) is a competition and festival like no other. It not only celebrates the past and present of the sports it features but also looks toward the future and donates all proceeds to non-profits that use alternative sports to benefit kids that need them the most. GNG will take place at Whistler, British Columbia summer of 2007 with competitions, booths, concerts and plenty more.

To get ready for the main event GNG will be hosting competitions all over the country qualifying people for the main event at Whistler. If you want to be a part of this mess and put your name in for ultimate glory keep checking www.gromfest.org for updates on where to head.
    Music: Any and all!
Movies: If it's got snowboarding or skateboarding in it we'll watch it!
TV: FUEL, OLN, ESPN...anyone who runs alternative sports.
    Books: You mean magazine???

Future Snowboarding, Concrete Wave and Transworld Skateboarding.
Heroes: Every young ripper out there who gives it their all and won't stop until they've learned the trick. For them there is no fear and no second best...

    We're Up & Running

    Sunday, August 19, 2007, 07:53 PM [General]

So Gromfest is about to get our second year started...yes that's right we've passed the one-year mark!

Right now we're fighting evil companies that snatched up our website as soon as the name expired (which we didn't know what was going to happen).  We'll get www.gromfest.org up and running soon enough so no worries, all the best pics and contest info will be up soon.  You can always go to web.mac.com/gromfest if you really want to see all the updates before we get them back up on the regular site.

If you don't know what Gromfest is then you should read our "About Me" and check out the website, its worth it.  We want to bring a Gromfest skate comp to your town so let us know who to contact and how to make it happen and we'll do just that.

That's it for now, hope you enjoy the site and of course...enjoy the ride!
