It's no surprise that well-trained athletes are seeking out other means to learn how to jump higher. Just like most activities in our lives, an athletic competitor's results with a vertical jumping program is determined by the amount of work an athletic competitor put in. Results, if the athlete puts in the effort, are often incredibly spectacular. It's tough to separate between jumping and the more general field of dexterity. Athletes who play soccer who strive to better their quickness and dexterity, as an example, tend to compete more effectively than soccer players jump program not.
Now, what do you do in order to jump? Not to jump well, but just to jump? In short, power can determine jumping capability. How is it that an athlete generate more power? Strength and speed, multiplied by each other, determine total power. The use for jum programs are to help an athlete summon a combination of those two ingredients which will optimize one's body's ability to generate strength over a brief time frame.
